Deepa’s Vasthraalayam – Payment Policy

At Deepa’s Vasthraalayam, we aim to provide a seamless and secure payment experience for our customers while ensuring the authenticity and safety of every transaction. Please read our payment policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently support the following payment methods:

Prepaid Payments via trusted and secure payment gateways (Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets).

Cash on Delivery (COD) with partial upfront payment and OTP verification.

2. Prepaid Payment (Recommended)

Prepaid orders are processed with priority and qualify for free shipping across India.

Payments are encrypted for your safety, and we do not store sensitive card or UPI details on our servers.

Once your payment is successful, you will receive an order confirmation via SMS and email.

3. Cash on Delivery (COD) – Partial Payment Policy

Customers choosing COD must adhere to the following terms:

A 25% advance payment of the total order value is mandatory at the time of order placement.

OTP verification on the provided mobile number is mandatory to confirm the order.

After the initial payment and OTP verification:

The remaining balance will be collected in cash at the time of delivery.

⚠️ Important Notes:

If the customer is unavailable at delivery or unable to pay the remaining amount:
 • The delivery partner will attempt delivery again the next day.
 • If the customer is still unavailable or refuses the order on the second attempt, the order will be canceled.
 • The 25% advance payment will NOT be refunded.
 • The product will be returned to our warehouse.

This policy is in place to prevent fraudulent orders and ensure genuine transactions.

4. Payment Security

All online transactions are securely encrypted through industry-standard gateways.

No sensitive payment information is stored on our servers.

5. Order Confirmation

Upon successful payment (prepaid or COD with advance), you will receive:

An order confirmation email.

An SMS with order details and OTP (in case of COD).

Please keep these details safe for future reference.

6. Invoice & Payment Receipt

An invoice will be provided via email once the order is confirmed.

For COD orders, a receipt will be provided at the time of final payment during delivery.
