At Deepa’s Vasthraalayam, we take great care to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. As a startup brand committed to offering unique, made-to-order designs, we kindly ask our customers to carefully read and understand our return and exchange policies before placing an order.
Although every product undergoes thorough quality checks, damage or defects may sometimes occur during transit due to courier mishandling.
If you receive a damaged, misprinted, or defective item, please follow these steps:
Raise a complaint within 3 days of delivery.
Submit the following for verification:
• An unboxing video (clearly showing the entire unboxing process, from start to finish).
• Clear photos of the damaged/defective product.
• Photos of the outer courier packaging.
❗️ If a request is not submitted within 5 days, the return or replacement will not be processed.
Important:
If the unboxing video is missing or insufficient for damage verification, Deepa’s Vasthraalayam will not be liable for refunds or replacements.
Please note:
All printed T-shirts and printed clothing are made-to-order, based on the customer’s selected size and design.
Printed and custom-made items are created specifically for your order, making size-based returns or changes impossible once production begins.
For non-printed, ready-made clothing, we DO accept returns for size issues.
This includes:
Other non-custom apparel
Product is unused
Tags are intact
Returned within the allowed return window
Item passes quality check
We request customers to open packages carefully. If damage occurs during unboxing due to scissors or sharp tools, we cannot offer refunds or replacements unless:
A full unboxing video from start to end is provided.
Photos of the courier package and its condition upon delivery are submitted.
If the outer packaging appears damaged at delivery:
Take clear photos when you receive the package.
Record a video while opening the package.
We will verify the submitted media alongside courier delivery logs and images to assess where the damage occurred.
• If the damage is verified to have occurred before delivery, we will approve a replacement.
• Otherwise, the request will be declined.
If a refund is approved:
The amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
The refund will reflect in your account within 4–7 business days after verification and item pickup.
All designs, artwork, and brand assets on our website and products are copyright protected under Deepa’s Vasthraalayam.
Unauthorized usage, duplication, or distribution of our intellectual property will result in legal action.
All eligible return or replacement requests must be raised within 3 days of delivery.
Requests raised after this period will not be entertained under any circumstances.
